Supply Chain Operations Analyst Intern at PITT OHIO Express, LLC – Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Overview

PITT OHIO, a $900 million, high service, highly profitable, transportation solutions provider offering SUPPLY CHAIN, GROUND, LTL and TRUCKLOAD services is seeking a Supply Chain Operations Analyst Intern.  This internship position is located at our corporate headquarters in the Strip District area of Pittsburgh, PA.

Responsibilities

• Work on operational/pricing efficiencies through data
• Develop a standardized way of proposing pricing opportunities to our carrier vendors
• Building Excel, word, and Power BI Dashboards and integration of shipment data with Co – Pilot
• Offer suggestions on how to best utilize data and make it actionable
• Utilize various Microsoft 365 applications and present new tools to the Supply Chain group

Qualifications

• Must be majoring in Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Supply Chain and/or related discipline
Completed at least Sophomore year at a University/College
• Minimum GPA of at least 3.0
• Must be expert in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft office applicants
• Knowledge of Microsoft PowerBI
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Outstanding time management and organizational skills
• Fluent command in the English language is required to efficiently communicate with internal and external customers and vendors
