Advanced Manufacturing Technician at Reynolds Services Inc – Greenville, Pennsylvania
About This Position
The Advanced Manufacturing Technician supports advanced manufacturing operations by performing offset plate making, operating the MetJET digital printing system, and operating digital 2D and 3D printing systems. This role provides hands-on technical support for a variety of manufacturing technologies and requires strong mechanical aptitude, adaptability, and the ability to adjust priorities in a dynamic production environment.
Requirements:- Support offset plate making, operation of the MetJET digital printing system, digital 2D & 3D printing, robotic manufacturing cells, and other advanced manufacturing systems, including equipment operation, maintenance, and setup
- Perform daily production and project-based manufacturing activities
- Assist with setup, testing, and validation of new manufacturing equipment and processes
- Perform routine equipment maintenance, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting
- Identify and report equipment or process issues
- Follow documented procedures and contribute to process documentation
- Work collaboratively with Pre-Press, engineering, and operations personnel
- Maintain an organized, efficient, and safe work environment
- Adapt to changing tasks and priorities as operational needs evolve
Qualifications - Education and Experience
- Technical training, vocational education, or equivalent hands-on manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience in a manufacturing, printing, or technical production environment preferred
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
- Ability to operate and maintain manufacturing equipment
- Basic computer skills and comfort with digital workflows
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to follow procedures and work independently when required
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and tasks
- Reliable, dependable, and team-oriented
Physical and Work Environment Requirements
- Work is performed primarily in an on-site manufacturing environment
- Regular hands-on interaction with machinery and equipment
- Work assignments may change daily based on production and project needs
- Occasional schedule flexibility may be required
- Work involves exposure to typical manufacturing environments, including the use of inks, plates, chemicals, and associated odors; appropriate safety controls and PPE are provided
- Compliance with all safety, environmental, and operational standards is required
