Job Summary:
Lake Wildwood is a gated community of private members. The Assistant Restaurant Manager supervises the Front of House staff, daily restaurant, and bar operations at Lake Wildwood Association.
Pay Range is $23.00 to $25.00/hour DOE
Supervisor: Director of Food & Beverage
Supervises: Front of House Staff. Supervises catering staff and custodian staff as needed.

What you'll do
Job Requirements:
a. Must have corporate restaurant management experience, understanding of Private Clubs, and an understanding of Restaurant Systems and Standards. .
b. Coordinates and supervises FOH operations throughout the daily meal periods and assists with Events and Bar operations.
c. Upholds professional food and beverage image including cleanliness, proper uniform, and appearance standards.
d. Train, evaluate, coach and counsel all FOH personnel.
e. Coordinate with Director of Food & Beverage and Events Manager for beverage orders to meet the sufficient needs of the restaurant and events.
f. Acclimates effortlessly to fast paced, ever changing situations, member expectations and short-term announcements.
g. Surpasses tight deadlines for events as well as makes informed decisions that exceed member and client expectations while considering the best interest of the Lake Wildwood Association.
h. Arranges for printing of menus, decorations, entertainment, and other special requests.
i. Provide onsite support for set-up/teardown, event flow and any other additional support needed.
j. Coordinates with management team and Chef to determine selling prices, menus, and other specifics.
k. Coordinates the communication between the kitchen with nightly reservation counts which includes training staff during operations to continue communication.
l. Critiques functions and events to recognize future opportunities and to implement necessary changes for increased quality and image.
m. Prepare weekly schedules for FOH staff and Special Event personnel in coordination with Events Manager.
n. Wide-range knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits.
o. Works in conjunction with Director of Food & Beverage and Events Manager to provide management coverage as needed.
p. Because of the fluctuating demands of the Club’s operation, it may be necessary that each employee perform a multitude of different functions; therefore, as an essential part of this job, the Restaurant Manager will be expected to help others when the occasion arises, just as other employees are expected to help. Accordingly, the Restaurant Manager may be expected to perform other tasks, not specifically addressed above.
q. Expectations of experience of bartending and serving are required for this position.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
a. Associates Degree in Food and Beverage or related field, preferred
b. Minimum of 3 years Hospitality/Restaurant Management required
c. Knowledge and understanding of Private Clubs required
d. Knowledge of logistics involved in planning and execution of events preferred
e. Ability to multi-task and balance/prioritize work
f. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Publisher, Word, and Excel.
g. Knowledge of TOAST / POS systems and proper order of entry for bar and kitchen
h. Knowledgeable in health and sanitation guidelines as well as HAACP compliance
i. Excellent Communication skills
j. Ability to work with a diverse group of people and communicate with all levels of management
k. Passionate about engaging and creating personal connections with our community members
Certificates/Licenses:
a. Valid Driver’s License
b. Servsafe Certification
c. RBS Certification
