Director of Hospitality and Campus Operations at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church – Atlanta - Westside, Georgia
About This Position
Westside Table is a growing, diverse second campus of Peachtree Road United Methodist Church, located in Atlanta’s Westside. As we transition into our permanent facility and enter a new season of growth, Westside Table is seeking a Director of Hospitality and Campus Operations to build hospitality systems, manage volunteer teams, and oversee building operations and administration, creating environments that help people experience a generous welcome and make ministry happen.
We are looking for a highly organized leader who thrives on execution, systems and excellence. This role ensures that Westside Table operates with clarity, excellence, warmth, and follow-through so that every person who walks through our doors feels seen, known, and invited into deeper community.
Ideal Candidate
Seeking a proactive leader who successfully turns vision into executable systems and creates environments where people feel welcomed and can grow in their Christian faith. The right candidate is structured, detail-oriented, and energized by building processes that help people flourish. This person can build and nurture relationships while also being operationally strong and caring deeply about people, but is also comfortable setting standards and holding teams accountable.
Key Responsibilities
Hospitality & Environment Creation
- Create environments that reflect Westside Table’s ministry and vision while thinking creatively about seasonal events that connect our space with our message and facilitate spiritual growth.
- Collaborate with the Campus Pastor and ministry teams to ensure alignment between spaces and the vision.
- Oversee ministry logistics with a focus on first-time guest experiences, including signage, flow, check-in systems, and environment readiness.
- Ensure children, youth, and adult ministry spaces are welcoming, prepared, and reflect the values of Westside Table.
- Evaluate and continually improve guest experience systems.
- Manage and oversee the hospitality and environment budgets.
- Other duties as assigned.
Campus Management and Operations
· Serve as primary point person for building operations.
· Oversee building scheduling and facility calendar coordination.
· Lead a volunteer facilities team to assist with monthly walkthroughs and preventative care.
· Ensure building readiness for ministry, including overseeing setup and reset for Sunday worship, ministry events and outside events.
· Coordinate maintenance vendors and purchase required supplies for building operations.
· Develop and maintain building policies, safety procedures and emergency response protocols.
· Manage and oversee the budget for Campus Management and Operations.
Volunteer Management
· Recruit, train, schedule and lead hospitality and facilities volunteers.
· Develop clear role descriptions, schedules and standards of excellence.
· Create systems for scheduling, communication and training.
· Develop training rhythms and leadership pathways for volunteers.
· Cultivate a culture of ownership, not just participation.
Administration and Operational Leadership
· Turn vision into executable plans
· Oversee project management for ministry initiatives and events.
· Coordinate ministry calendar alignment across ministry teams.
· Support internal workflows to ensure clarity, execution and follow-through.
· Provide administrative support for the Campus Pastor.
· Assist with planning and execution of major church-wide events.
Requirements:• A deep Christian Faith and commitment to the mission of Westside Table and Peachtree Road United Methodist Church.
• 3+ years of experience in operations, hospitality, volunteer management or related fields.
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
• Experience building systems, workflows, or operational processes and procedures.
• Ability to lead and develop volunteer teams.
• Comfortable managing databases and tracking metrics.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and strong follow-through.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
