This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the design and deployment of advanced RFID, IoT, and automation solutions across diverse industries such as manufacturing, logistics, and retail. You will take ownership of the full solution lifecycle, from early-stage design and client engagement through implementation and long-term support. Acting as a trusted technical advisor, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-performance systems that drive operational efficiency. The position combines deep technical expertise with strategic thinking and customer interaction. You will work on complex, high-impact projects while contributing to innovation and best practices. This is an ideal opportunity for a hands-on engineer seeking autonomy, leadership, and meaningful technical challenges in a fast-evolving field.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead pre-sales engagements, partnering with stakeholders to understand business needs and design tailored RFID and automation solutions
  • Conduct discovery sessions to assess workflows, technical constraints, and integration requirements
  • Own end-to-end solution architecture, including hardware selection, RF design, and system integration strategies
  • Plan and manage project execution, defining deliverables, timelines, risks, and dependencies
  • Lead site surveys, proof-of-concept initiatives, pilots, and full-scale deployments through customer acceptance
  • Configure, install, and support RFID, IoT, and automation systems across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments
  • Act as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues, performing root-cause analysis and coordinating resolution
  • Ensure ongoing system performance, stability, and customer satisfaction through continuous support
  • Produce detailed technical documentation and “as-built” system records
  • Mentor team members and contribute to best practices, standards, and reusable solution frameworks

Requirements:

  • Strong expertise in RFID systems, RF environments, IoT architectures, and automation technologies
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience delivering RFID and automation solutions in production environments
  • Proven experience with RAIN RFID and AIDC technologies, including complex or multi-site deployments
  • Solid understanding of networking, system integrations, and hybrid cloud/on-prem infrastructure
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and network systems
  • Ability to lead technical workstreams independently and make sound architectural decisions
  • Experience working in mission-critical environments with a structured and customer-focused approach
  • Proficiency with tools and technologies such as MS SQL Server, Linux, and JavaScript is a plus
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%, including internationally

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary ranging from $130,000 to $145,000 annually
  • Fully remote work environment with flexibility to manage your schedule
  • Opportunities to work on cutting-edge technologies and large-scale deployments
  • Career growth through exposure to complex, high-impact projects
  • Collaborative and supportive team culture with knowledge-sharing opportunities
  • Travel opportunities across the United States and Canada
  • Comprehensive benefits package including healthcare and wellness support
  • Access to continuous learning and professional development resources
