About This Position
Company Summary:
Healthcare is complex, often frustrating, and deeply consequential. At Provider Resources, we sit at the intersection of federal policy and real-world healthcare operations; helping resolve billing disputes that directly affect whether providers get paid and patients get care. Our work is governed by the No Surprises Act, and the stakes are real.
Role Summary:
We're looking for a Product Manager who wants to do meaningful work in a space that matters. You'll own real product surface, navigate a layered stakeholder environment, and help build a PM function working closely with Product management leadership. If you want a role where your work has visible impact and room to grow; this is it.
What You'll Do:
Own Your Product Surface
• Maintain and groom a prioritized backlog; write sharp user stories, define clear acceptance criteria, and keep the team unblocked.
• Translate ambiguous business needs into well-scoped, actionable requirements.
• Make confident prioritization calls and defend them with data and reasoning.
• Connect backlog priorities to business objectives. Drive the "why" behind the work and ensure the team is building toward outcomes that move the needle for PRI.
Ship Things
• Drive features from discovery through delivery; requirements, refinement, QA validation, and launch.
• Partner with engineers and designers to build solutions that are technically sound and user centered.
• Run sprint ceremonies: planning, standups, reviews, and retros.
• Contribute to evaluating and integrating AI-assisted tools and automation into product workflows where they add real value.
Navigate Stakeholders
• Work across diverse stakeholder map; operations, compliance, QA, engineering, and leadership. Often with competing priorities and tight timelines.
• Build trust with non-technical partners by communicating product decisions with clarity and context.
• Surface blockers early, escalate with context, and keep stakeholders aligned without over-meeting.
Document With Discipline
• Write and maintain product documentation, user stories, process flows, decision logs, and meeting notes.
• Contribute to audit-ready practices; in a federal healthcare environment, documentation isn't overhead, it's the job.
• Support a culture of written clarity that reduces ambiguity across the team.
Measure What Matters
• Define and track KPIs tied to product outcomes, not just output.
• Use data and user insights to sharpen priorities and close feedback loops.
Qualifications:
• 2–4 years in product management, business analysis, or a closely related role with real backlog ownership under your belt.
• Fluency in Agile/Scrum: you've written user stories, run sprints, and know what good looks like.
• Strong documentation habits. You write clearly, consistently, and with your audience in mind.
• Comfort with ambiguity. You don't need a perfect brief to get started.
• Strong written and verbal communication; you can write a crisp Jira ticket and a sharp exec summary.
• Outcome-oriented mindset. You think in business goals, not just features, and can articulate how your work connects to organizational priorities.
• Familiarity with modern product tools (Jira, Figma, Confluence, or equivalents).
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Preferred Experience:
• Experience in healthcare, federal contracting, or other regulated industries.
• Hands-on experience with AI-powered products or automation features, ideally in an operational or enterprise context.
• Exposure to workflow automation, RPA, or low-code
o-code platforms (e.g., Appian, Power Automate).
• Comfort operating in compliance-heavy environments where process rigor matters.
• Familiarity with data analytics. You don't need to be an analyst, but you can read a dashboard and ask the right questions.
