Role Overview
Lifted Trucks is seeking a highly organized, dependable, and self-motivated HR & Payroll Coordinator to provide essential HR administrative and operational support. This pivotal role requires meticulous attention to detail, advanced technical proficiency, professionalism, and discretion to manage sensitive HR, employee, and payroll matters in our fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
- HR Administration & Compliance: Administer new employee onboarding and orientation, support administration for tracking and processing employee changes, and conduct offboarding (including exit interviews). Maintain accurate employee personnel records and HRIS records, performing routine audits of employee transactions.
- Payroll Support: Review and process timecards, prepare reports for management, perform data entry in the payroll system, and answer basic employee payroll inquiries.
- Internal Support: Provide guidance on personnel policy and procedures to employees and management, respond to HR-related inquiries, and distribute internal communications regarding status changes or company policies.
- Process & Culture: Support cultural initiatives and employee programs from an administrative and coordination standpoint, acting as a culture carrier for the organization.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience in Human Resources and payroll administration.
- Highly Preferred: Demonstrated experience managing and executing end-to-end employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion.
- Technical proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar) and ability to learn new systems quickly.
Pay is dependent on experience
Bonus Experience & Opportunities
- Professional Human Resources (PHR) or Associate Professional in Human Resources (aPHR) certification, or equivalent certification through SHRM (e.g., SHRM-CP/SCP) is a bonus.
- Experience in a car dealership environment is a strong bonus.
- Exposure to benefits administration.
- This role may include the opportunity to support recruiting operations (talent acquisition); experience in this area is a bonus.
Software & Technology
Position will require the frequent use and knowledge of Paylocity among other systems such as Dealersocket, Tekion, ComplyAuto, and Trainual. Familiarity with project management software is a plus, such as Trello, TeamGantt, etc.
