As a Senior Backend Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and APIs, while ensuring reliability, efficiency, and scalability. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including product managers, UI/UX designers, and fellow engineers—to deliver solutions that have broad organizational impact. The role emphasizes modern software practices, including distributed systems, API design, and cloud-based development. You will also contribute to architectural discussions, mentor peers, and help define engineering best practices. • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using technologies such as Golang, Python, and AI/LLM frameworks
• Implement and integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL for seamless front-end and back-end communication
• Develop database solutions, maintain data integrity, and optimize performance using PostgreSQL or comparable systems
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following established coding standards and best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle to deliver high-quality solutions
• Identify, debug, and resolve technical issues, performance bottlenecks, and software defects
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the design of scalable and robust backend systems

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development with a focus on backend engineering
• Strong proficiency in Go and Python, with experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with database systems and data modeling, including PostgreSQL or similar technologies
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and modern software development practices (Agile, Kanban)
• Interest in AI technologies and large language models (LLMs) and their integration into backend systems
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork abilities in dynamic, cross-functional environments
• Healthcare domain experience is a plus but not required
• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of taking ownership of assigned tasks
