This role provides strategic leadership over sales operations across the Great Lakes region, driving revenue growth, market share, and customer engagement in both hospital and non-hospital markets. The Regional Vice President will lead a team of sales professionals, cultivate executive-level relationships, and develop strategies for account retention and new business acquisition. This position requires a results-oriented leader with strong business acumen, analytical capabilities, and the ability to inspire and manage high-performing teams. The role offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment where strategic thinking, customer focus, and operational excellence intersect to deliver measurable business impact.

Accountabilities:
  • Direct regional sales operations to achieve revenue, market share, and expense objectives.
  • Develop and maintain executive-level relationships within hospitals and healthcare networks.
  • Lead a team of sales professionals, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance management.
  • Execute account strategies to retain existing business and drive new opportunities.
  • Oversee strategic planning for market penetration and commercial initiatives.
  • Manage deal escalations and ensure accurate, timely reporting to executive leadership.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with broader organizational goals.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of management experience leading a sales organization within capital equipment or hospital sales verticals.
  • Proven track record in driving sales with long-cycle, high-value deals and large quotas.
  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, inspire, and manage high-performing teams.
  • Experience managing cross-functional initiatives and resolving conflicts effectively.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to travel 50% or more as required.
  • BS/BA in a related discipline; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
