This role provides strategic leadership over sales operations across the Great Lakes region, driving revenue growth, market share, and customer engagement in both hospital and non-hospital markets. The Regional Vice President will lead a team of sales professionals, cultivate executive-level relationships, and develop strategies for account retention and new business acquisition. This position requires a results-oriented leader with strong business acumen, analytical capabilities, and the ability to inspire and manage high-performing teams. - Direct regional sales operations to achieve revenue, market share, and expense objectives.
- Develop and maintain executive-level relationships within hospitals and healthcare networks.
- Lead a team of sales professionals, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance management.
- Execute account strategies to retain existing business and drive new opportunities.
- Oversee strategic planning for market penetration and commercial initiatives.
- Manage deal escalations and ensure accurate, timely reporting to executive leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with broader organizational goals.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of management experience leading a sales organization within capital equipment or hospital sales verticals.
- Proven track record in driving sales with long-cycle, high-value deals and large quotas.
- Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, inspire, and manage high-performing teams.
- Experience managing cross-functional initiatives and resolving conflicts effectively.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to travel 50% or more as required.
- BS/BA in a related discipline; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
