Overview
The Vice President of Finance is a senior finance leader responsible for supporting the CFO in overseeing the company’s financial strategy, operations, and governance. This role provides executivelevel leadership across financial planning, reporting and business partnership, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and value creation. The VP of Finance acts as a strategic thought partner to the CFO and executive leadership team, ensures financial discipline across departments and serves as the CFO’s delegate as needed with the SEM, auditors, and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Financial Planning, Analysis, Performance Management and Business Partner
- Oversee enterprisewide FP&A, including annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, longrange planning, and scenario analysis.
- Establish and monitor KPIs to drive accountability, performance transparency, and decisionmaking.
- Lead margin management, cost optimization, and productivity initiatives across geographies.
- Support pricing, investment prioritization, and capital allocation decisions.
- Be the business partner leader supporting FP&A and Commercial Finance
- Lead in preparation of presentations for CEO/CFO to be used for communication with Ajico
- Has overall responsibility for the entire Finance/Accounting function in the absence of the CFO
Financial Reporting & Controls
- Partner with Accounting to support timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting
- Provide support on analytics on monthly results
- Lead in developing more robust analysis and reporting on cash conversion cycle.
- Lead the finance organization on EPM roll-out and ensuring accuracy of our detailed P&L
- Support Accounting and Operations finance on improvements on capitalization and/or actual costing
M&A, Investments & Strategic Projects
- Support financial due diligence, valuation, and integration for mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and divestitures.
- Support strategic transformation initiatives, including ERP implementations, shared services, and finance digitization.
Stakeholder Management & Leadership Coverage
- Represent the finance function in executive forums and crossfunctional initiatives.
- Act as CFO delegate when required
- Build, mentor, and retain a highperforming global finance organization.
Assist as needed on ad-hoc requests
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (required)
- MBA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent professional qualification (preferred) and 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including senior roles in complex, multinational organizations OR and equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated experience partnering with executive leadership
- Strong background in FP&A, financial reporting, controls, and multinational operations
- Experience in project management, integration, and strategic investments strongly preferred
- Manufacturing and MNC experience preferred
- CPG experience preferred
