Deposit Support Operations Specialist I at Heritage Federal Credit Union – Newburgh, Indiana

As we continue to expand, we are searching for a Deposit Support Operations Specialist I.

The Deposit Support Operations Specialist I provides support for processing deposit related internal services such as document imaging, quality assurance of all new accounts, certificates, and safe deposit boxes, as well as other necessary support duties.

What you’ll do:

• Document imaging for deposit and e-services
• Quality assurance for new accounts, certificates, and safe deposit boxes
• Compliance verifications on new accounts
• Provide deposit account support for both internal and external members
• Handling of renewal and late/NSF notices for all credit union safe deposit box rentals
• Performing annual safe deposit box inventory and tracking processes
• Communicate POA and Trust acceptance decision to retail in a timely manner
• Deluxe check order administration and support
• Provide monthly metric reports
• Assist with commercial account duties

Qualifications/Experience Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Working knowledge of data systems and ability to perform a variety of transactions
• Ability to perform account quality assurance
• Understanding and experience with BSA and MIP.
• Experience in check law and Indiana unclaimed property laws
• Strong Communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to use computer applications and equipment
