FIVE RIVERS MEDICAL CENTER - HOUSEKEEPER at Saint Bernards Medical Center – POCAHONTAS, Arkansas

High School graduate or GED desirable.

Previous experience helpful. An inexperienced worker will need three to five days of instructions and at least 30 days on-the-job training to perform satisfactorily.

Frequent bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, lifting and carrying 50 lbs or more. Pushing up to 300 lbs. Continuous walking and standing. Occasional sitting. Must be able to see with corrective eye wear.
Must be able to hear clearly with assistance. Tools/Equipment Used: Mops, mop buckets, scrubber, electric hi-speed buffer, housekeeping cart, trash collection equipment, laundry carts, soiled linen carts, ladder (step type), vacuum cleaners, dust mops, brooms, dust pans, hand equipment on cart.
Work Environment: All areas of hospital in climate controlled environment. Some outdoors work is required so employee is exposed to temperature changes for brief periods of time.
