This role offers the opportunity to lead high-impact quantitative research that shapes product strategy and user experiences at scale. You will design and execute surveys, analyze complex datasets, and translate findings into actionable insights for cross-functional teams. Operating at a strategic level, you will partner with product managers, designers, engineers, data scientists, and marketers to ensure research drives meaningful decisions. This position balances leadership, mentorship, and hands-on analysis in a fast-paced, agile environment. The role emphasizes the use of statistical methods, behavioral data, and evidence-based storytelling to influence product roadmaps and business outcomes. You will also help elevate research practices, mentoring peers and scaling quantitative methodologies across the organization.
Lead end-to-end quantitative research initiatives, from scoping business needs and designing surveys to analyzing data and presenting actionable insights.
Partner strategically with product, design, engineering, data science, and marketing teams to identify high-impact research opportunities and align insights with business priorities.
Champion user-centered decision-making by embedding quantitative research into product strategy and advocating for user needs across functions.
Analyze and synthesize complex data sources, including surveys, behavioral analytics, and market intelligence, to develop evidence-based recommendations.
Mentor and guide peers to improve research methods, tools, and impact, helping scale quantitative approaches across the organization.
Collaborate with qualitative researchers to enable mixed-methods research designs and comprehensive insights.
7+ years of experience in user, product, or market research with a strong focus on quantitative methods.
Expertise in survey research, including planning, sampling, weighting, and statistical analysis.
Proficiency in R for statistical programming and analyzing survey data; strong SQL skills for integrating behavioral datasets.
Experience in translating complex data into compelling narratives and visualizations for stakeholders.
Success operating in fast-paced, agile environments with shifting priorities while maintaining research impact.
Strong collaboration, communication, and influencing skills, with a track record of aligning cross-functional teams.
Experience mentoring peers and scaling research methods across teams is a plus.
Hands-on qualitative research experience is desirable but not required.
Competitive salary range by location: Tier 1: $149,000–$199,000; Tier 2: $137,000–$183,000; Tier 3: $127,000–$169,000 USD.
