About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior HVAC Mechanical Service Technician to join our Christchurch team.

Reporting to the Regional Service Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality HVAC service work, leading by example on-site, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out planned maintenance, reactive and remedial service work
• Diagnosing faults and completing installation works on HVAC mechanical systems
• Coordinating and prioritising work to meet client and operational requirements
• Supporting scheduling and maximising efficiency of work in progress
• Preparing service reports, work dockets, and remedial recommendations
• Liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
• Supporting and mentoring junior technicians where required

• NZ trade qualification in HVAC / Refrigeration / Mechanical or Electrical
• Valid NZ Full Driver's Licence
• Minimum 5+ years post-trade experience
  
• Strong background in commercial and industrial HVAC systems
• Experience with installation, maintenance, and fault diagnostics
• Solid understanding of building services mechanical systems
• Proven ability to manage customer expectations and service delivery
