Introduction
Thermo King Western Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our finance team. You’ll be stepping into a key role previously held by a long-tenured team member who is retiring, giving you the opportunity to make an immediate impact and help shape the future of our accounts receivable function.

You bring practical experience in accounts receivable, cash management, and financial reporting, and you’re ready to take a hands-on role in ensuring smooth operations.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the full accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing, payment posting, and reconciliation
- Monitor aging reports and proactively follow up on outstanding balances
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and customer disputes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account records
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure smooth billing processes
- Prepare regular AR reports and provide insights on cash flow and collection trends
- Support month-end and year-end close processes related to receivables
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards
- Identify opportunities to improve AR processes and reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding)
- Take ownership of daily cash management, including receiving, recording, and reconciling payments
- Lead the preparation and execution of bank deposits, ensuring accuracy, security, and timeliness
Skills & Prerequisites
- 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or a similar accounting role (considered an asset, not required)
- Strong understanding of AR processes, cash application, and reconciliation
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar ERP systems)
- High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills, especially when handling discrepancies or disputes
- Excellent communication skills for working with both internal teams and external customers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
- Experience handling cash and preparing bank deposits (or similar financial controls)
- Relevant experience in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping (formal education not required)
