In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing large datasets, performing audit reviews, and delivering insights that drive operational efficiency and financial accuracy. You will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, identify trends, and develop reporting tools and dashboards that inform strategic decisions. - Research and analyze claims and transaction data to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with contractual agreements.
- Perform audit risk assessments, annual logic reviews, and ongoing monitoring activities to support internal controls.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance SQL and Python queries, dashboards, and reporting tools for audit deliverables and performance monitoring.
- Quantify financial impact of audit findings and communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Collaborate with internal technology and business teams to improve data quality, workflows, and reporting transparency.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis to support evolving audit and business needs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business-related field such as Actuarial Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, or Business Administration.
- 2+ years of experience in data analytics, audit, or a related role.
- Experience with healthcare, pharmacy claims, or PBM is preferred.
- Proficiency in SQL (Snowflake preferred), Excel, and Tableau; familiarity with Python and project management/version control tools such as Jira, Confluence, or GitHub.
- Strong attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and a passion for continuous improvement.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and execute deliverables in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Highly organized, flexible, and able to manage competing priorities efficiently.
