This role is designed for a strategic growth leader who will drive high-impact partnerships across health systems and other care networks. The Director of Care Partnerships will lead a dedicated team to expand existing collaborations and cultivate new relationships, ensuring consistent delivery of value to both partners and clients. This position combines operational leadership, business development, and cross-functional collaboration to shape and execute strategic initiatives. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to senior healthcare executives, leveraging industry insight and established networks to accelerate growth. They will also work closely with internal teams to align partnership strategies with broader organizational goals while promoting a culture of performance, collaboration, and innovation. Occasional travel will allow for direct engagement with partners, strengthening relationships and supporting long-term impact.
- Lead and mentor a team of Care Partnership Managers and Associates to develop and grow strategic partnerships.
- Design and execute comprehensive partnership strategies for health systems, driving both new business acquisition and revenue growth from existing relationships.
- Oversee cross-functional initiatives with marketing, operations, and partner success teams to ensure consistent partner engagement and value delivery.
- Conduct strategic account reviews, including relationship mapping and action planning, to maximize partnership outcomes.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities to inform strategy and maintain market relevance.
- Serve as a primary ambassador for the organization, representing its mission and value proposition to external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with leadership to define KPIs, analyze performance, and implement improvements for the Care Partnerships function.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in partnerships, business development, or healthcare services leadership.
- Established network and experience engaging mid-level to senior executives within regional and national health systems.
- Demonstrated success in driving growth and revenue through healthcare partnerships across multi-site organizations.
- Strong strategic planning and implementation skills, with a proven ability to execute key account initiatives that drive measurable results.
- Knowledge of health plans, health system operations, behavioral health, and value-based care strategies.
- Exceptional communication, discovery, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience fostering collaboration across sales, operations, and marketing functions to improve outcomes.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce, and strong organizational, problem-solving, and technology literacy.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or healthcare concentration preferred.
- Ability to travel occasionally (<20%) to support partner engagement.
