This role is designed for a seasoned account management professional to lead client engagements in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors. You will oversee multiple projects, ensuring that strategic objectives are met while mentoring junior account staff and fostering collaborative, high-performing teams. The position involves managing client relationships, guiding project execution, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will play a critical role in developing proposals, budgets, and presentations, while identifying opportunities for account growth and business development. - Serve as the primary client lead, maintaining and developing business opportunities while ensuring alignment with client objectives.
- Develop client agendas, presentations, and project briefs, and lead or support calls with clients and subject matter experts.
- Guide project teams in meeting client expectations, ensuring milestones, deliverables, and quality standards are achieved.
- Mentor and support junior account staff, fostering team collaboration and professional development.
- Identify opportunities for account growth and contribute to business development initiatives.
- Manage budgets, proposals, and financial reconciliations, ensuring accurate reporting and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and guidelines, maintaining high standards of client service.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of account management experience within pharmaceutical, medical communications, or healthcare-focused agencies.
- Experience in client-facing roles and familiarity with medical-legal-regulatory (MLR) review processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and strong project management skills.
- Competencies in leadership, results-orientation, detail-orientation, relationship building, and flexibility.
- Ability to travel 10–15% depending on client needs.
- Strong communication, strategic thinking, and team management capabilities.
