About This Position
The Final Test Technician II position is responsible for Acceptance Testing for a wide variety of Military, Space-Flight, and Hi-Rel products. The Final Test Technician II is also responsible to assist in coordinating monthly test schedules to meet shipping needs.
This position requires the ability to follow detailed written test instructions referencing technical drawings and schematics. This position requires the use, set-up, and analysis of a wide variety of Electrical, Mechanical, and Environmental Exposure equipment. Employee may be asked to perform other duties as required and the responsibilities of the position are subject to change.
Essential Functions:
· Perform Acceptance Testing for Military, Commercial, and Hi Reliability Aerospace products
· Provide timely nonconformance reports
· Provide daily electronic updates about status of product under test.
· Read/understand product design documentation (Parts Lists, Drawings, Source Control Documents, etc)
· Read, understand, and execute detailed test procedures
· Handle, transport, set up, and operate product in a manner safe for both operator and product
· Operate test equipment such as, but not limited to Automated Test Equipment, Centrifuge, Digital Multimeters, Micrometers,
Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies, Thermal/Thermal Vacuum Chambers, Torque Tools, Vibration Tables
· Document test setups and record results of test procedures.
· Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
· Adhering to BEI’s safety and security policies.
· Daily time keeping using BEI’s Visibility system.
· Work with limited supervision
Requirements:Education/Experience:
Minimum Associates Degree in Mechanical or Electrical field or Equivalent
OR
3+ years experience in Product Acceptance Testing
Other:
Prior experience operating DMM's, Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies, Calipers/Micrometers, Torque Tools, Scales, and Thermal Chambers
Ability to read Mechanical & Electrical Schematics
