You’re someone who:

• Knows heavy diesel preventative maintenance
• Stays proactive and takes initiative
• Isn’t afraid to get your hands dirty and work as part of a team
• Wants to grow your skills and take pride in quality work

• Jump start tractors
• Align headlights
• Replace, mount, and dismount tires
• Install mud flaps, hangers, mirrors, shocks, wiper components
• Adjust brakes; replace linings, drums, cams, bushings
• Perform minor welding and cutting torch work
• Change oil, grease equipment, and check all fluid levels
• Follow repair time standards and parts procedures
• Maintain a clean, safe, compliant work environment
• Perform other duties as needed

• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Willingness to learn shop procedures and technical info
• High school diploma or GED
• Technical school (A/B) or BOCES experience preferred — OR hands-on experience with autos, farm equipment, or construction equipment
• Basic tool set
• Valid driver’s license
• Brake certification (we can provide this)
