Server at Sea Oaks Property Owners Association – Vero Beach, Florida

As a Server at Sea Oaks, you will be responsible for greeting and serving members in a professional manner while ensuring a pleasurable dining experience. This includes providing knowledge of the menus, wine, and other alocholic beverages while being attentive to the Members' needs and requests.

Job Responsibilities:

• Attend and participate in the daily line-up meeting to receive instructions regarding the menu, service stations, and become familiar with nightly "features"- including their ingredients, cooking style, and abbreviations.
• Maintain knowledge of all menus for all dining rooms and events to make appropriate recommendations and answer questions regarding allergies, diets, etc.
• Provide prompt, friendly, and unobtrusive service to all members and guests while dining.
• Complete all opening and closing side work to support the team during operating hours.
• Perform all job functions while following all safety and sanitation guidelines as outlined by Sea Oaks.
• Inform the Chef(s) on the status of tables served or fired.
• Ensure proper inventory within the serving stations to include cups, saucers, tea, coffee, lemons, cream and more as outlined by operational policy.
• Present Sea Oaks in a professional and safe manner, ensuring a clean and professional appearance as outlined in the uniform policy.
• Set up and break down of dining room, buffet lines, and events.

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be able to communicate both verbally and in writing, including the ability to read.
• Knowledgeable in handling food and food safety.
• Must have eligibility to work in the United States.

Physical & Mental Demands:

• Must be able to stand for longer than eight (8) hours.
• Must be able to lift and carry fifty (50) pounds on an intermittent basis.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, reach, push, pull, twist, walk, crouch, and squat.
• Must be able to speak, hear and see.

Availability

This position requires availability to work all shifts- weekends, holidays and special events as needed.
