Class A CDL Truck Driver at Britton Lumber Company – FAIRLEE, Vermont

We are a family owned regional building materials wholesaler who delivers to retailers in New England and Upstate New York. Our tractors based in Vermont are all 2019 or newer models with the fleet being upgraded with new tractors starting this year! Our Vermont crew is a teamwork driven group focusing on both excellent customer service and our employees' professional growth and satisfaction.

If you:

• Are a tractor trailer driver with a Class A CDL license
• Have a clean driving record
• Have at least 2 years of driving experience
• Are able to pass a pre-employment physical and DOT drug screen
• Have good work references

This is a full time, year round position with excellent benefits including vacation and holiday pay, a platinum health insurance plan, company paid life insurance and long term disability insurance, and a comprehensive retirement plan. With a home base in Fairlee, VT drivers depart and deliver material throughout New England and Upstate New York with flatbed or curtain-side trailers. Some tarping may be necessary and daily routes include multiple stops and occasional pickups. Drivers can expect to handle some small items but majority of material is handled with forklifts by customers or other staff.
