Cannabis Graphic Design Artist

Position Summary

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Graphic Design Artist to join our marketing team. This role will be responsible for developing visually compelling creative assets that align with our brand identity and comply with state cannabis advertising regulations.

The ideal candidate has experience in regulated industries (cannabis, alcohol, pharmaceuticals, etc.), understands packaging and labeling compliance requirements, and can balance creativity with legal constraints.

Key Responsibilities

• Design marketing materials including digital ads, email campaigns, and website visuals
• Create compliant product packaging and labeling artwork
• Develop promotional materials
• Collaborate with marketing and compliance teams to ensure all materials meet state regulations
• Maintain brand consistency across all platforms
• Prepare final production files for print and digital distribution
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years of professional graphic design experience
• Strong portfolio demonstrating branding, packaging, and digital design work
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
• Experience with print production and packaging dielines
• Understanding of cannabis advertising regulations (preferred)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in the cannabis industry or another highly regulated market
• Motion graphics or video editing skills
• Knowledge of social media content trends and digital marketing best practices
