We’re currently looking for a Commercial Maintenance Engineer to help keep our commercial properties operating safely, efficiently, and at the highest standard. If you’re mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and enjoy solving problems, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities
• Respond promptly and professionally to tenant work orders and service requests
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building automation systems
• Monitor and adjust all mechanical/pneumatic equipment, control gauges, distributor panels, valves, thermostats, diffusers, and other equipment necessary to provide a comfortable environment
• Inspect mechanical rooms, fan rooms, cooling towers, motors, house pumps, and sump pumps
• Maintain accurate maintenance and property management records
• Maintain a working knowledge of a building’s life safety equipment and operation, including but not limited to fire alarm panels, sprinkler systems, fire extinguishers, fire alarm drill procedures, tenant evacuation, emergency generators, and blackout procedures
• Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, and governmental agency and Company directives as related to building operations
• Respond immediately to emergency situations (fire, evacuation, equipment failure, etc.) and customer concerns
• Participate in after-hours, on-call rotation and work overtime as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned to support building operations
Qualifications
• Mechanically inclined with 1+ year of maintenance experience
• High school diploma or GED required
• HVAC experience is a plus
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Maintains a professional appearance and represents the company with professionalism and courtesy
• Comfortable interacting with tenants, clients, and vendors in a professional commercial environment
• Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements
This role is hands-on and active. You must be able to stand, walk, climb, shovel, and lift equipment. Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs and occasional lifting of up to 100 lbs may be required.
