About This Position

Description:

The Production Machine Operator (6am - 2pm) is responsible for setting up and operating machinery. This role ensures that production processes run efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all standards and specifications. The Production Machine Operator plays a crucial part in maintaining product quality, meeting production goals, and adhering to company values and safety guidelines.

Starting Wage: $21.45/Hour +

  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety policies and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Machine Setup: Ensure that machinery is set up according to the specifications outlined in the machine’s spec sheet.
  • Machine Operation: Operate and maintain machinery including monitoring operation, machine adjustments and troubleshooting of equipment to meet required specifications.
  • Production Efficiency: Monitor and adjust machinery to meet quoted run times, ensuring production schedules are met without compromising quality.
  • Quality Control: Verify that the products produced are within the required production specifications and quality standards. Record in-process data accurately to ensure continuous monitoring of product quality and production metrics. Document any deviations from quality standards and report them for corrective action.
  • Maintenance Requests: Identify and report any equipment issues that affect production efficiency and create maintenance requests to ensure timely resolution.
  • Housekeeping and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe and efficient workspace.
  • Data Entry: Perform data entry in SAP to document material usage and movement.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements: Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control.
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to strict safety standards.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
