What You'll Do:

Depending on the individualized care plan, daily duties may include:

  • Companionship: Providing meaningful engagement, conversation, and emotional support.
  • Personal Care: Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and general hygiene.
  • Meal Preparation: Preparing food according to dietary needs and assisting with feeding if required.
  • Light Housekeeping: Managing laundry, dishes, trash, and general tidying to maintain a safe home.
  • Medication Reminders: Prompting clients to take scheduled medications (no administration).
  • Mobility Assistance: Aiding with safe transfers, repositioning, and the use of mobility equipment.
  • Transportation: Driving the client to medical appointments, errands, and approved outings.
  • Respite Care: Providing reliable support to give family caregivers a well-deserved break.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Logging shift activities and promptly communicating any changes in the client's condition.
  • Client Advocacy: Respectfully supporting the client's independence, routines, and overall well-being.

You will help create a safe, respectful, and positive experience for every client by showing up on time, following care plan instructions, maintaining professional boundaries, and treating every home you enter with care and respect.

Qualifications:

We are seeking compassionate, dependable professionals dedicated to providing high-quality, person-centered care. Prior experience is a plus, but your character, work ethic, and willingness to learn matter most!:

  • High school diploma (or equivalent).
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • Comfortable assisting with personal care tasks and physical mobility support.
  • Ability to accurately follow written care plans and verbal instructions.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and staff.
  • Reliable punctuality and a patient, respectful demeanor.

Success in this role requires consistency, accountability, respect for client preferences and privacy, and the ability to provide care that honors each client's dignity, independence, and trust.

Position Details:

  • Schedule: Flexible shifts available — full-time, part-time, evenings, and weekends
  • Type: In-home, non-medical caregiving
  • Environment: One-on-one care provided in private residences
