Director of Food & Beverage (Global Events)

This is a senior-level, high-impact role responsible for shaping and delivering world-class food and beverage experiences across large-scale global events. You will oversee F&B strategy, planning, and execution for experiences ranging from intimate VIP programs to major international events hosting up to 20,000+ attendees. The role combines creative culinary design with strong operational and financial leadership, ensuring excellence in both guest experience and commercial performance. You will work closely with clients, internal teams, and global suppliers to bring innovative concepts to life while maintaining strict budget control. Operating in a fast-paced, international environment, you will frequently travel and lead on-site delivery across multiple regions. This is a highly visible position that directly influences the quality and success of flagship global experiences.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the end-to-end planning, strategy, and execution of food & beverage delivery across large-scale global live events, ensuring exceptional guest experiences from concept to completion.
  • Design and curate innovative menus, beverage programs, and culinary concepts aligned with event objectives, audience expectations, and regional considerations.
  • Own and manage complex F&B budgets ranging from $100K to $12M+, ensuring accurate forecasting, reporting, and strong financial control across all projects.
  • Negotiate and manage supplier contracts, optimizing cost efficiency while maintaining high-quality standards and strong partner relationships.
  • Oversee on-site delivery across build, live, and breakdown phases, ensuring operational excellence and seamless execution in fast-paced environments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, clients, venues, and global suppliers to ensure alignment, clear communication, and successful project delivery.
  • Contribute to the development of processes, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives for global F&B delivery.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience delivering food & beverage operations for large-scale live events, ideally ranging from 100 to 20,000+ attendees.
  • Strong background in F&B consultancy or agency environments with exposure to complex, international event delivery.
  • Proven track record of managing significant budgets ($100K–$12M+) with strong financial acumen and commercial awareness.
  • Hands-on experience in on-site event execution within fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
  • Strong negotiation, supplier management, and contract oversight capabilities.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple global projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with a proactive and solutions-driven mindset.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally throughout the year and work across global time zones.
