Business Development Manager
Department: Sales
Location: Onsite - Athens, Greece
Schedule: Monday–Friday
The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for identifying and developing strategic business relationships with potential clients and partners, working closely with the executive team. The BDM will take the lead in the development of new business opportunities that support EMPIST's overall growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- New Business Development: Identify and evaluate potential new business opportunities to increase the company’s revenue and market share. Develop relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within target companies.
- Client Relationship Management: Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to foster loyalty and encourage repeat business. Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Provide insights to inform business development strategy.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure alignment.
- Proposal Development: Prepare and present proposals and presentations to potential clients. Negotiate terms and agreements to close deals.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on sales performance metrics. Adjust strategies and approaches as needed to achieve targets.
- Networking: Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to represent the company and build a network of contacts.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field. Experience in the technology or digital transformation sectors is highly desirable.
