Overview
We are looking for college students (rising Juniors and Seniors) seeking internships for the summer of 2026 in Boston. Shawmut Design and Construction is looking for an intern to work within our Financial Systems team. We are looking for somebody who would thrive in a fast-paced environment and wants to learn more about Corporate Finance and how we work with other departments throughout the company.

Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between finance, technology, and operations teams to support ongoing initiatives
- Assist with project coordination, including scheduling meetings and ensuring the right stakeholders are involved
- Help document and organize financial systems, tools, and workflows across the team
- Support the development of a “finance technology landscape” to map out systems and processes
- Perform administrative and project support tasks related to financial systems initiatives
- Work with and analyze data using tools like Excel, SQL, and reporting platforms (e.g., Crystal Reports)
- Contribute to process improvements and explore opportunities to leverage AI and automation
Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field with an interest in technology
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Interest in financial systems, data, and process improvement
- Experience with Excel required; exposure to SQL or data tools is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams
