About This Position

Unisteel, a global leader in precision engineered metal and plastic components and part of the SFS Group, is seeking an experienced Account Manager in Silicon Valley, CA to grow and manage key OEM customer relationships in the consumer electronics space. The ideal candidate must have previous experience in consumer electronics and custom components

The mission of the Account Manager is to serve as a trusted advisor to existing and potential new customers in a manner that assures deepened customer relationships, high customer satisfaction, new customer acquisition, increased sales and profitable revenue growth. This role offers a competitive starting salary and a generous benefit package including profit sharing, company 401(k) contribution, health/dental/vision insurance offerings, and other valuable benefits! This role offers a salary range of $120,000–$140,000, based on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Learn and understand Unisteel’s business model, products, and organization while building strong internal partnerships across engineering, production, supply chain, sales, and R&D.
  • Develop and execute account management and business development strategies, including action plans for priority customers and identification of new customer opportunities.
  • Build and maintain effective, long-term relationships with key customers and decision-makers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and ongoing engagement.
  • Manage the full sales cycle by identifying opportunities, coordinating pre- and post-sales activities, responding to quotes and engineering requests, and closing profitable business.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver tailored solutions, introduce Unisteel’s technological innovations, and clearly demonstrate product and service ROI to customers.
  • Maintain strong visibility within assigned accounts, proactively resolve customer issues, manage supply chain continuity from design-in to revenue, and achieve assigned sales targets and strategic objectives.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering or Business preferred)
  • 5+ years of B2B component sales to OEM customers
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Technically savvy with the ability to discuss engineered solutions
  • Prior experience with Salesforce is not necessary but would be a plus.
  • Ability to speak Mandarin is a plus
