The Senior Structural Engineer is responsible for reviewing and checking structural designs, performing design work as needed, and providing technical leadership to engineering teams. This is a highly technical role that requires strong hands-on design experience within the Metal Building or Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) industry.

Key Responsibilities:
• Review job drawings and provide clear design direction to engineers and designers.
• Review and check structural designs for accuracy, efficiency, and code compliance.
• Seal structural drawings as required.
• Guide design teams in reducing structural weight while maintaining safety and performance.
• Intervene directly with design solutions to keep projects on budget.
• Design field fixes and provide engineering solutions as issues arise.
• Assist in developing and maintaining engineering standards and standard procedures.
• Occasionally design entire projects or portions of projects as needed.

Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (required).
• Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (required).
• Minimum of 5 years of structural design experience in the Metal Building or PEMB industry.
• Strong practical, hands-on design experience with metal building systems.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent technical judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
