You will be responsible for defining and delivering reporting products that enable financial institutions to gain actionable insights from their data. Working in a remote-first, fast-paced environment, you will collaborate closely with clients, engineers, and data teams to translate business needs into scalable reporting solutions. The position combines strategic ownership of a product roadmap with hands-on execution in Agile delivery cycles. You will play a key role in ensuring reporting tools are accurate, intuitive, and valuable for end users. This is a high-impact opportunity to directly influence how banking clients understand and use their financial data.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will own the strategy, delivery, and continuous improvement of reporting capabilities within a core banking platform, ensuring alignment with client needs and business objectives. You will translate complex reporting requirements into clear product direction and guide execution across distributed teams.

  • Define and manage the reporting product roadmap, ensuring alignment with client needs and organizational priorities
  • Gather requirements from clients and stakeholders and translate them into clear product specifications and acceptance criteria
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog in Agile environments, ensuring maximum delivery of customer value
  • Lead sprint planning, grooming sessions, and delivery tracking using Agile tools such as Jira
  • Coordinate multiple report development teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of reporting features
  • Oversee QA and validation of reporting outputs before release to ensure accuracy and usability
  • Collaborate with engineering and data teams to design scalable, reliable, and performant reporting solutions
  • Monitor adoption and usage of reporting tools to inform continuous product improvement
  • Serve as the voice of the customer for reporting and analytics capabilities across internal teams
Requirements

This role requires strong experience in product ownership or product management within data-driven or banking environments, combined with the ability to manage complex stakeholder expectations and deliver scalable reporting solutions.

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, or business analysis roles
  • Strong experience in core banking systems, financial operations, or fintech environments
  • Background in reporting, analytics, business intelligence, or data product development
  • Hands-on experience managing Agile workflows and tools such as Jira
  • Ability to translate client and business requirements into structured product features and technical deliverables
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving, remote-first environment
  • Familiarity with SQL, data warehousing, or BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
