• Architect, build, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs using modern technologies and cloud infrastructure
• Own the full lifecycle of features, from concept and design to deployment and optimization
• Develop intuitive and high-performance frontend components using modern JavaScript frameworks
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, debugging, and system improvements
• Design and implement internal tooling, automation workflows, and agent-based development systems
• Optimize application performance across frontend, backend, and AI-driven pipelines
• Contribute to defining best practices for AI-native software development and engineering workflows
• Collaborate cross-functionally in an asynchronous environment and eventually mentor or lead a small engineering team

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with strong backend development expertise (e.g., Scala, Java, Ruby, or C#)
• Proficiency in JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks such as React
• Proven experience building and scaling SaaS products in production environments
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools and agent-based development workflows
• Strong system design skills with the ability to architect scalable, maintainable solutions
• Ability to balance AI-assisted development with traditional coding approaches effectively
• Excellent written communication skills and comfort working in remote, asynchronous teams
• Experience or strong interest in building internal developer tools, AI workflows, or automation systems is a plus
