This leadership role offers the opportunity to drive operational excellence across a high-impact project delivery organization within a fast-paced technology environment. As Director, Project Delivery, you will oversee teams of project managers and technical leaders, ensuring successful execution of complex initiatives across multiple domains. You will play a key role in shaping strategy, optimizing processes, and improving performance through data-driven decision-making. The role blends people leadership, program oversight, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes. You will act as a central escalation point, ensuring customer satisfaction while aligning internal stakeholders. This is an ideal position for a hands-on leader passionate about building high-performing teams and scaling delivery operations.
- Lead and develop Senior Project Managers and technical leaders, fostering growth, accountability, and high performance
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery through data analysis, process optimization, and strategic planning
- Define, track, and optimize KPIs and OKRs to ensure alignment with organizational objectives
- Serve as a key escalation point for complex project challenges, ensuring timely and effective resolution
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, sales, account management, and consulting teams to align priorities and execution
- Standardize project delivery frameworks to improve efficiency, reduce risk, and meet client expectations
- Oversee resource planning, project tracking, and forecasting to ensure timely delivery and accurate revenue projections
- Champion change management initiatives and lead organizational improvements across project delivery functions
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in project management, professional services, or a related field within technology-driven environments
- 7+ years of experience in people management, including coaching, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing cross-functional teams and stakeholder relationships
- Proven expertise in data analysis, process improvement, and organizational design
- Solid technical understanding of IT solutions, including cloud platforms, networking, cybersecurity, and disaster recovery
- Experience with tools and platforms such as Office 365, Intune, identity management systems, and cloud infrastructure (e.g., Azure)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage escalations effectively
- Project management certifications (PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2) and familiarity with ITIL or ServiceNow are a plus
