IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate is an engineer who has shipped real products in small, fast-moving teams and is comfortable owning problems end-to-end with minimal direction.

They combine strong technical fundamentals with a bias toward action and a track record of building systems that people actually use. They are comfortable working across the stack and are naturally drawn to applying AI in practical, high-impact ways.

This individual is self-directed, resourceful, and capable of moving from ambiguous problems to working solutions without waiting for detailed instructions.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Elevation Capital is building an AI-first operating layer across the business to eliminate manual work and increase speed across every team.

As an Applied AI Engineer, you will design and build the systems that power this transformation. This includes intelligent mobile applications, AI-driven interview tools, voice agents, and data pipelines that connect and automate workflows across the organization.

Everything you build will be internal, proprietary, and deployed into production. You will see your work used in real time by teams across the business.

This is a hands-on, high-ownership role. You will work directly with the founding team to identify high-friction processes and replace them with scalable AI-driven systems. You will own projects end-to-end, from initial concept through deployment and iteration.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Design and build AI-powered internal tools from concept to production
  • Develop LLM-driven workflows for interview intelligence, summarization, and decision support
  • Build and ship cross-platform mobile applications using React Native
  • Develop backend systems and APIs to support AI workflows and real-time data processing
  • Build and deploy RAG pipelines and integrate vector-based retrieval systems
  • Develop voice agents and real-time AI interfaces where applicable
  • Identify manual workflows across teams and replace them with scalable automation
  • Own projects end-to-end, including architecture, implementation, and iteration
WHO YOU ARE
  • 2 to 5 years of experience building and shipping real products in small teams
  • Strong Python skills with the ability to build production-ready systems
  • Hands-on experience working with LLMs in real applications
  • Comfortable working across the stack when needed
  • High ownership mindset with minimal need for direction
  • Able to operate effectively in fast-moving, evolving environments
