Role: Customer Account Executive
FLSA: Full Time | Exempt | Salaried | Remote (US)
Reports to: Director of Sales
Scope of Position: The Customer Account Executive (CAE) is responsible for cultivating and closing Cross-sell/Expansion opportunities, within our current Trustwell customer base. Within Trustwell’s SAAS software Suite of products and services for Food manufacturing, Food Service, and Supplement Manufacturing market. The CAE is responsible for expanding current relationships in Trustwell’s current customer base, efficiently moving customers through the opportunity stages to a successful close. The CAE is also responsible for developing and fostering strong positive relationships with existing customers and serving as a good representative for the company. The role ultimately will drive the success of the company's cross-sell bookings goals and objectives through achieving individual sales quotas in designated territories.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities including but limited to:
- Prospect, research, and connect with existing customers
- Create and manage prospecting campaigns with touch points and follow up to maximize pipeline creation
- Present and sell company products and services to existing customers
- Partner with Account Managers
- Expand current customer base
- Reach agreed upon sales targets
- Uncover and overcome customer objections
- Demonstrate software to interested parties
- Complete tasks as assigned in a timely manner
- Relentless follow up on prospects, leads, and opportunities is a must
- Experience and proficiency in Salesforce, Salesloft, and Zoominfo preferred
- Other responsibilities as required
Required Skills/Abilities
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Prospecting experience selling software into new markets
- Process oriented and very organized
- Experience utilizing technology to prospect effectively (i.e. Linkedin, Zoominfo, Salesloft)
- Strong negotiation and relationship skills to build credibility with buyers
- Work effectively within Sales Team
- Experience selling software in the Food industry
- Ability to work productively in a remote environment
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, or similar; required.
- 3 plus experience in software sales or related food industry experience, required.

The compensation for this role is based on several factors, including the candidate's experience, education, skills, and alignment with the responsibilities outlined for the role. The anticipated salary range for this role is (Annual Salary); with most candidates hired in the mid-range. This role is quota-bearing, and comes with an on-target earning up to $160k/per annum/uncapped.

80,000 - 85,000 USD per year(Durham, NC)
