As a Mammography Technologist, you will perform mammography and xray exam procedures on patients while adhering to radiology and safety protocols.

Have the option to pick which schedule works best for you below:

Option 1:

Mon-Tues: 7a-7p:30p
Wednesday: 11a-11:30p
Option 2:
Monday, Tuesday and Friday 7a-7p


Responsibilities

Mammography Technologist Responsibilities:

  • Operates mammography equipment, computer, and image management systems utilized in performing breast imaging exams.
  • Perform and assess quality control measures on equipment and procedures.
  • Determines how the technique selections affect optimal image quality.
  • Follows policy and procedures.
  • Ability to navigate on-line resources pertinent to job responsibilities.
  • Ability to communicate with other individuals; visual acuity; ability to lift and move patients; push and pull wheelchairs and stretchers; withstand extensive standing, stooping, bending, squatting or sitting; ability to perform repetitive tasks.
  • Demonstrates the skills and competency appropriate to the ages, culture, developmental stages, and special needs of the patient population served.
  • Ability to work weekends and/or evenings.


Qualifications

Mammography Technologist Qualifications:

  • ARRT registered RT-(R) (M) and meet MQSA standards for performing mammography.
  • Maintains certification in BLS.
  • Personal computer skills
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Display critical thinking and decision-making skills.
