About This Position
Major Food Group is hiring PM Line Cooks to join our culinary team for No. 1 STEAK at Sadelle's located in beautiful Highland Park Village!
Inspired by Dallas’ deep-rooted love for steak, No. 1 STEAK by MFG is a new concept making its debut with an exclusive pop-up in Highland Park. Hosted at Sadelle’s after dark, No. 1 STEAK by MFG transforms the space every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evening into an intimate dining experience with a distinctly Dallas sensibility.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- A dynamic teaching kitchen offering experience in butchery, sauce and stock preparation, and cross-training on multiple stations.
- Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
- Prep and production for service
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
- 2 years of experience in high volume restaurants, steakhouse experience preferred
- Experience working with seafood and cold prepared foods strongly preferred
- 4 shifts per week, 8-10 hours (based on business levels) with a set schedule and consistent days off
- Team-orientated and positive attitude
- Strong communication skills a must
