IT Technical Project Manager at Sterling Construction Company, Inc. – The Woodlands, Texas

What You’ll Do

• • Support IT due diligence for acquisitions, identifying systems, risks, and integration needs
  • Coordinate Day 1 readiness by building project plans, timelines, and dependencies
  • Lead post-close IT integration workstreams, partnering with internal teams and vendors
  • Track progress, risks, and key milestones, keeping stakeholders informed
  • Facilitate communication between IT, business leaders, and corporate partners
  • Maintain organized documentation aligned with internal standards and compliance requirements

What You Bring

• • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of IT project management experience
  • Experience supporting mergers & acquisitions, including IT due diligence and integration planning
  • Strong ability to influence stakeholders across IT, Corporate Development, Legal, Security, and Compliance teams
  • Comfortable working in complex environments with multiple priorities and dependencies
  • Experience presenting project progress and risk updates to senior leadership or executive teams
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance detail orientation and big-picture thinking

Tools & Experience

• • MS Project, Visio, Excel, SharePoint
  • Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), critical path (CPM) scheduling
  • Epic/Story development in Agile environments
  • Enterprise-level project documentation and reporting
  • Experience reporting project progress to senior leadership and C-suite stakeholders
