We are currently hiring a full-time Yard Hand/Labourer to join our Dawson Creek team.

As the Yard Hand/Labourer, you are responsible for:

• Accurately and efficiently preparing rental equipment for customers
• Testing equipment and showing customers how to operate equipment as required
• Overseeing the secure and accurate loading and unloading of equipment
• Performing routine checks on rental equipment to ensure it is safe and in good working order using the rental tagging system
• Inspecting returned equipment for damages and fuel and reporting immediately to counter
• Ensuring that yard and shop is neat, organized, and safe by putting equipment in proper locations and ensuring that debris and snow is cleared
• Preparing records of incoming, outgoing, or damaged equipment as required per Rentco procedures
• Washing and fueling equipment

You have the following skills and abilities:

• Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritizing skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Strong work ethic and a positive team attitude
• Ablity to work efficiently both independently and as a part of a team
• Ability to communicate in writing and perform basic mathematical calculations
• Ability to learn to operate material handling equipment, including forklifts
