This role is a highly technical, client-facing position focused on shaping and delivering advanced networking solutions in a pre-sales environment. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, partnering closely with sales teams to design, position, and demonstrate complex infrastructure solutions that address customer needs. The role blends deep networking expertise with consultative selling, requiring the ability to translate technical capabilities into clear business value. You will engage with enterprise clients, channel partners, and internal stakeholders to drive opportunity qualification and solution design. Working in a fast-paced, collaborative sales environment, you will help guide prospects through the technical decision-making process. Your impact will be central to accelerating deals and ensuring the successful positioning of scalable, modern networking architectures.

Accountabilities:
  • Provide pre-sales technical and functional support to prospective clients, ensuring accurate solution positioning and strong customer engagement.
  • Design and present tailored networking solutions combining hardware, software, and services to meet complex client requirements.
  • Collaborate with Territory Managers to qualify opportunities, develop proposals, and support the sales cycle through to closure.
  • Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and consultative discussions with customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain detailed solution specifications, including design and implementation documentation for complex environments.
  • Develop proof-of-concept environments to validate solutions and demonstrate feasibility based on client requirements.
  • Manage channel partner relationships and support demand generation activities across assigned territories.
  • Maintain opportunity pipelines, forecasts, and account strategies aligned with regional business objectives.
  • Provide ongoing consultative support to internal teams and external clients, ensuring alignment between technical solutions and business needs.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with exposure to pre-sales or solution engineering roles preferred.
  • Strong expertise in networking technologies, particularly campus and distributed branch network environments.
  • Proven ability to design, position, and support complex technical solutions in client-facing situations.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to deliver compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Strong consultative mindset with the ability to translate technical capabilities into business value.
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders in both internal and external environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities in complex technical scenarios.
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities, prioritize tasks, and operate effectively in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional sales, engineering, and partner teams.
