Position:

The Production Finisher is responsible for recording accurate counts of job yields, issuing balance of raw materials for each job from the staging location and finishing and closing jobs that have been packaged and ready for shipping.

Responsibilities:

  • Record accurate counts of job yields.
  • Issue balance of raw material for each job from staging location.
  • Finish and close jobs produced and packaged.
  • Apply and bolt down lids.
  • Label drums and totes of packaged finished product.
  • Weighing product packed in totes and stamping weights.
  • Reporting any finished product that is packaged below acceptable standards to Supervisor.
  • Systematically move inventory from warehouse to production using scanner as needed.
Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED. Technical or vocational training is a plus.
  • Experience: Prior experience in food manufacturing or highly regulated production environment is typically required, with aseptic or cleanroom experience being highly desirable.
  • Attention to detail: A high degree of accuracy is essential for following recipes, procedures, and documentation.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with supervisors and documenting processes.
  • Problem-solving: The ability to identify issues and find effective solutions.
  • Physical endurance: The role often requires standing for long periods and the ability to lift a moderate amount of weight (e.g., 50 pounds).
