You will translate large-scale purchasing and pricing data into clear recommendations that influence executive decision-making. Accountabilities

In this role, you will lead the overall strategy, development, and delivery of spend analytics capabilities that enable healthcare organizations to optimize supply chain performance and achieve measurable cost savings. You will turn complex procurement, pricing, and utilization data into clear, actionable insights that support sourcing decisions, contract optimization, and clinical alignment.

  • Define and execute the enterprise spend analytics strategy aligned with sourcing and member value goals
  • Identify and quantify cost-saving opportunities through benchmarking, utilization, and contract performance analysis
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reporting tools, and analytics solutions supporting supply chain decision-making
  • Ensure data integrity, governance, and standardization across supplier, item, and pricing datasets
  • Partner with technology teams to improve data pipelines, reporting infrastructure, and analytics scalability
  • Deliver executive-ready insights and recommendations to member hospitals and internal stakeholders
  • Support sourcing and clinical teams with analytics for RFPs, negotiations, and supplier evaluations
  • Build and track KPIs tied to savings realization, analytics adoption, and data quality performance
  • Lead and develop a team of analysts and BI professionals, fostering a culture of impact-driven analytics
Requirements

This role requires deep experience in healthcare analytics, supply chain data environments, and leadership of analytical teams within complex, data-intensive organizations. You bring strong technical expertise, business acumen, and the ability to translate analytics into measurable operational and financial outcomes.

  • 7–10+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, supply chain, consulting, or related fields
  • 3–5+ years of leadership experience managing analysts or cross-functional teams
  • Strong understanding of healthcare supply chain data, purchasing systems, and contract structures
  • Experience with item master data, pricing models, and classification standards such as UNSPSC
  • Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Ability to build scalable reporting and analytics solutions from large, complex datasets
  • Strong communication skills with experience presenting insights to executive and operational stakeholders
  • Experience in healthcare GPO, IDN, or consulting environments preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in analytics, business, healthcare administration, or related field preferred
