LTL Consolidation Planner in Bogotá at Unlimited Carrier Inc

Position Overview

LTL Consolidation Planner handles the coordination and optimization of LTL shipments to ensure efficient and cost-effective transportation.

Developing and managing schedules for shipments to ensure timely delivery. Identifying opportunities for cost savings by combining two shipments together without harming the customer or carrier. Monitoring the status of consolidated shipments and resolve any issues that arise during transit. Communicating between the departments ensuring healthy workflow.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Consolidate shipments where possible to improve efficiency and reduce expenses.
• Real-time shipment monitoring.
• Coordination of NCS shipments using third party cross-dock terminals.
• Routing of inbound shipments.
• Communication with third party cross-dock terminals.
• Carrier selection considering the price – LTL or spot carriers.
• Taking care of accounting issues that may arise.

Skills and Requirements

• Transportation planning experience.
