Senior Developer, Salesforce Commerce Cloud

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Developer, Salesforce Commerce Cloud in the United States.

In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and optimization of complex e-commerce solutions built on Salesforce Commerce Cloud, supporting a global portfolio of well-known consumer brands. You will work across systems integration, ensuring seamless connectivity between ERP, CRM, and digital commerce platforms. The position combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership, including mentoring junior developers and guiding small development teams. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, high-performance solutions. This is a fast-paced, agile environment where clean architecture, secure coding, and innovation in digital commerce are central. Your work will directly support large-scale, high-traffic e-commerce experiences used by millions of customers worldwide.

Accountabilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain integrations between ERP, CRM, and e-commerce systems to ensure seamless data and process flow
  • Build, customize, and extend Salesforce Commerce Cloud solutions, including PWA and legacy Demandware environments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and coordination for junior developers and small development teams
  • Develop clean, efficient, secure, and well-documented code aligned with best practices and coding standards
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues while ensuring timely communication with stakeholders
  • Identify system weaknesses and high-risk areas to improve performance, reliability, and scalability
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes
  • Work closely with business units to align technical delivery with e-commerce and product strategy
Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of full-stack development experience with strong expertise in system integration and e-commerce platforms. You have at least 5+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud, including customization and extension development. Strong technical knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX) and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js is essential. Experience with C#, .NET, REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, and version control systems like GitHub or Bitbucket is highly valued. You have a solid foundation in object-oriented design, data structures, and secure coding practices (e.g., OWASP). Experience working in Agile environments and exposure to DevOps tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions is expected. Salesforce Commerce Cloud certification is a strong plus. You combine strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
