Working Site Crew Foreman

This is a full-time position and requires a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as a Foreman in earthwork import and material placement. Additional skills in clearing, final grade placement for stabilizer, and base materials would be a bonus. The position holder must be available Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 5 PM, for a minimum of 40 hours per week. This position holder will be willing and able to work overtime as necessary to complete projects in accordance with the General Contractor’s schedule.

We are a civil sitework and utilities company prepared to grow. Most of our projects are in Hillsborough, Pasco, and Polk County. Sometimes we have jobs in Pinellas and Orange counties. We provide services in earthworks, grading, underground utilities (Water, Sewer, Storm), building pads, fire lines, and much more. We are looking for someone dedicated and willing to grow with us.

Requirements:

This position calls for experience in the following areas:

· Supervises, schedules, and coordinates crews.

· Must have GPS experience in both setup and operation.

· Identifying potential change orders.

· Attend monthly safety meetings with your crew.

· Ordering materials and equipment in a timely fashion to maximize field productivity.

· Coordinate trades and subcontractor progress.

· Ensure all on-site employees comply with OSHA standards and company rules.

· Monitor labor reporting and job cost reviews and prepare time sheets and a two-week look-ahead.

· Bring the job in/on time and under budget.

· Assists in the personnel management of department employees (e.g., selection of new hires, promotions, terminations, transfers, supervision, discipline, training, etc.) to maintain staffing needs and workforce productivity.

· Prepare reports to document activities and comply with district and/or legal requirements.

· Operate various pieces of equipment.

Other requirements include:

· Valid driver’s license in good standing/

· Reliable transportation to and from work/jobsite

· Complete background check and pre-employment drug screening.
