Geotechnical Engineering Intern at Ninyo & Moore – Austin, Texas

Job Description: Ninyo & Moore, a SOCOTEC Company, has an opening for a Geotechnical Engineering Field and Lab Assistant Summer Intern in Austin, Texas. The successful candidate will work alongside field and laboratory technicians in the performance of construction materials field and lab testing and construction observation. Duties may also include assisting geotechnical engineers and project managers with any other aspects of field operations needed.

Qualifications:

• Current enrollment in a Civil Engineering, Geology, or Construction-related Associates, Bachelor's or Graduate program
• Strong communication skills
• Able to perform a wide range of physical activities including lifting up to 50 pounds of equipment on occasion
• Valid driver's license and good driving record is required
• CPT or OPT status is acceptable, but not eligible for future full-time employment if visa sponsorship is needed
