Medical Receptionist / Physical Therapist Tech at Makovicka Physical Therapy – Lincoln, Nebraska

Must be available Tuesdays 1:00 pm-9:00pm, Thursday 7:00 am to 6:00 pm and Friday 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. Additional hours may be available and this position has a potential to become full time in the future.

Position: Are you detail oriented and enjoy computer work but also like to be up and moving and not be tied to a desk all of the time? This is a part-time position may be perfect for you! You must be available from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.

This position will have a mix of active patient interaction and administrative duties in the clinic.
What You’ll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service by welcoming and putting people at ease
• Ensure accurate patient records
• Assist physical therapists in delivering high-quality patient care
• Manage and maintain the physical space of the clinic and equipment
• Help patients with exercises and mobility activities
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the team

What You Need to be Successful:

• Enjoy moving and working with patients
• Ability to multitask and prioritize various patient, clinician, and clinic needs
• Detail-oriented and a need to make sure that every detail is correct
• Strong people and communication skills
• Have a high level of proficiency with computers and Microsoft programs

This position requires the ability to deal tactfully with patients, family members, insurance, and the general public. In addition, there is a high degree of physical movement throughout the day. Experience with insurance, patient or customer service and healthcare is preferred.
