About This Position

Description:
  • Prepare monthly general ledger journal entries and month end accruals
  • Prepares & file sales and use tax returns
  • Reconcile monthly balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly
  • Analyze monthly financial results and explain variances to budget and forecast
  • Review monthly P&L and ensure accuracy
  • Assist with financial and tax audits
  • Assist with the month-end closing process adhering to strict deadlines
  • Provide back-up and support to the Finance Team
  • Takes the initiative and seeks process improvement opportunities within assigned responsibilities
  • Completes other duties as assigned to meet accounting department responsibilities
Requirements:
  • 5 or more years of recent Corporate Accounting experience
  • CPA or progress toward CPA preferred
  • Experience in Sage Intacct a plus
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, with advanced level of Excel skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
