Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the installation of HVAC systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Lead and manage a team of HVAC installers, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Coordinate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Conduct site assessments to determine installation requirements and plan the layout of HVAC systems.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and industry standards during installations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or discrepancies during the installation process.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, including materials used and time spent.
- Inspect completed installations to ensure they meet quality standards and client specifications.
- Order and manage inventory of necessary materials and equipment for installations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to address questions or concerns regarding installations.
- Uphold a safe working environment by following all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Provide feedback and performance evaluations to team members for continuous improvement.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC installation.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certification preferred.
- Valid HVAC technician license and EPA certification.
- Proven experience leading a team of HVAC installers or technicians.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, components, and installation best practices.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and work in various environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
